We are delighted to share an important milestone in our ongoing academic and research journey. On 16th May, 2026, we had the privilege of participating in the international conference “Contemporary Research 2026”, organized by STEM Research Center under the theme “Emerging Trends in Sustainability: Integrating Multidisciplinary Research.” The conference served as a vibrant global academic platform for scholars, researchers, academicians and professionals to exchange innovative ideas, discuss contemporary research challenges and explore sustainable solutions through interdisciplinary collaboration.
As part of this prestigious international sustainability conference, we presented our research paper titled “Exploring Green Finance & Sustainable Development in Nepalese Banking Sector using NVivo 14.” The study focused on understanding the growing significance of green finance practices and their contribution toward sustainable development within Nepal’s banking industry. By utilizing NVivo 14 for qualitative research and thematic data analysis, the research explored emerging themes, institutional perspectives and sustainability-oriented financial practices that are increasingly shaping the future of the banking sector in Nepal.
The conference brought together renowned academicians, research scholars and professionals from various internationally recognized universities and institutions. Participants included representatives and scholars from the University of the Fraser Valley, Canada; The University of British Columbia; GISMA University of Applied Sciences, Germany; Prince of Songkla University, Thailand; Kuala Lumpur University of Science and Technology, Malaysia and many other prestigious institutions from across the globe. The diversity of expertise and international participation created an enriching environment for academic dialogue, research innovation and collaborative learning.
During the conference, valuable discussions were held on sustainability, digital transformation, environmental sustainability, innovation, multidisciplinary research approaches and emerging global challenges. The event highlighted the importance of integrating knowledge from multiple disciplines to address complex contemporary issues and promote long-term sustainable development. Engaging with researchers and experts from different academic backgrounds provided meaningful insights into current global research trends and strengthened opportunities for future academic networking and international research collaboration.
Our participation in this international academic conference reflects our continued commitment toward promoting quality research, academic excellence and evidence-based knowledge sharing. It also provided an opportunity to showcase Nepalese research perspectives within a broader international academic community. The presentation of our study on green finance and sustainable banking practices contributed to ongoing discussions regarding responsible financial systems, environmentally conscious economic growth and sustainable financial development.
